WELCOME!
We are a newly established field hockey club, founded in 2021 and based in Whistler. Comprised of Sea to Sky residents with fond memories of playing field hockey in their youth or in their home towns and countries, we felt it was time to reignite our passion for the sport and create a welcoming club environment.

Currently, our club offers programs catering to adults, whether they are returning players or newcomers to the sport. Our goal is to develop a sustainable field hockey club for the Whistler community, promoting physical, mental, and social well-being through the power of team sports.

Participating in this team sport offers numerous benefits, including the development of friendships, camaraderie, respect, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
​
All of our coaches are certified by the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) and FHC (Field Hockey Canada) and have passed criminal record checks. We’re fully covered by commercial general liability insurance provided by Cooperators and follow the official rules of the sport to ensure high standards on and off the field.

Whistler Field Hockey Club offers continuous training programs for both kids and adults and all ability levels.
Understanding that field hockey is a team sport, training focuses on both individual and team skills development that promote growth in technical and tactical execution as well as an overall understanding of the game.
SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT
We believe a key part of enjoying any sport is the social interactions that take place both on and off the field.
At WFHC, we offer a club environment for the Sea to Sky community and provide the opportunity to meet new people who share the same passion.
